This January my Class 3/4 students and I took up another challenge and made two games/toys using recyclable materials.

Children wrote numbers on plastic caps and tried to throw them into two plastic bottles, one for odd and another for even numbers. In this way, they practised saying the numbers and also their 'basketball' skills.

They also made figures for tic-tac-toe and had lots of fun playing the game. They used paper rolls for owls and egg boxes for pumpkins, because our town is the world's largest winter resort of long-eared owls and also the capital of pumpkins.

Winter works

I've made the jigsaw puzzle of The Maiden's Tower. It is an important place in our one of the biggest cities, İstanbul. It's so beautiful that it's called as the signature of İstanbul. I want you to see it. Thank you Julianna Szabo for this great idea.

Nativity play

The tradition of the Csíkdánfalva is the Christmas show on December 24th. Our Nativity play  recounts the story of the Nativity of Jesus. We got a huge applause from the audience.

We're going on activities with our parents. Each week a parent comes tou our class and make an activity with our students. We made grass heads and cookies this week
